Quantori Projects: FastqHeat
Nowadays, various open-and closed-source databases are available for bioinformaticians.
Working with databases could be challenging as everyone has their access interface. The data required is often extensive, making the download dependent on the internet connection quality. Quantori’s team helped scientists develop a solution that eases the work with genomic databases.
We are excited to announce that we have released our new open-source product FastqHeat.
FastqHeat is a console tool written on Python 3 that allows unifying the data received from different open-source databases: NCBI Sequence Read Archive (SRA), and EMBL European Nucleotide Archive (ENA).
Using FastqHeat, you can find genomic information from the metagenome of the unique biocommunity from the bottom of an abandoned mine to a mammoth’s genome.
