Yuriy Gankin, Ph.D., is a life sciences researcher, serial entrepreneur, inventor, and mentor who has over two decades of expertise in helping biopharma companies accelerate discovery and development of novel therapies that treat disease and improve the quality of patients' lives.
Previously, Dr. Gankin was Chief Life Sciences Officer and Vice President of the Life Sciences Business Unit at EPAM, following the acquisition of GGA Software Services and Institute of Theoretical Chemistry (ITC) by EPAM. As the Co-founder of GGA and ITC, he helped build them into a leading provider of scientific software engineering, algorithm development, and data curation services for the life sciences.
Dr. Gankin's research has been published in multiple scientific journals, and he holds several patents for analytical chemistry and targeted cancer therapy. He has expertise in research, database development, and modeling in chemistry, material science and biology, and holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Tufts University and is pursuing an MBA from MIT Sloan. In addition, Dr. Gankin lends his scientific and business expertise on the boards of several innovative companies, including Felicitex Therapeutics and Academic Studies Press.

Anna is responsible for global talent acquisition and HR services design and delivery at Quantori, the company transforming life sciences and healthcare through the power of intelligent IT solutions.
She brings to Quantori over 15 years of HR leadership excellence, having served in both management and consulting roles at international software leaders including Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and Grid Dynamics.
Certified in professional training and coaching, Anna has developed innovative HR infrastructures and headed training and development operations worldwide, including those in emerging markets. She is recognized for heading up transformational projects and designing leadership curriculums and communication frameworks, all which advance an organization’s development.
Anna holds a specialist degree in International Industrial Management from the Baltic State Technical University — Voenmeh and received additional degrees in Practical Psychology and in Human Resources. Anna is dedicated to providing an organization’s top talent with continuous learning and growth opportunities and is passionate about agility, creativity, and organizational meaning-making.
Dave WIlliamsVice President, Life Sciences and Healthcare Sales
As Vice President of Sales, Dave Williams is responsible for driving global business for Quantori. He brings to the position a successful track record of more than 25 years of achievements and commitment to customer success in the laboratory robotics and scientific software arenas.
His scientific industry experience is diverse and includes years in pharmaceutical and biotech discovery, development, and manufacturing phases, along with chemical, petrochemical, forensics, environmental, and consumer goods. Prior to joining Quantori, Dave served in senior sales and marketing roles at Zymark Corporation, NuGenesis Technologies acquired by Waters Corporation, and Core Informatics acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Yury AkininVice President, Global Delivery
Mr. Akinin is a technology and program management professional with more than 12 years in software engineering and product development services. Experienced tech entrepreneur who is focused on Business Development and Operational Excellence, Co-founder of Binwell Ltd, one of the mobile development companies in Russia with the market presence since 2014. Before joining Quantori as the Vice President of Global Delivery, Yury was the Director of Program Management at EPAM Systems and Head of Staffing of EPAM Saint-Petersburg.
He had been building the offshore delivery center in Saint-Petersburg, established staffing processes and operations and achieved HC growth for more than 1000 software engineers (2.5 times) for 2 years. Yury also has been a CTO at GEEKY corp. - the mobile product development company and has built a career from Software Engineer to Development Team Leader in Siemens and Atos companies.
Heidi CreightonHead of Communications
Heidi Creighton is an award-winning communications executive hailing from world-leading corporate, agency, and startup environments, and has three decades of strategic communications expertise.
Previously she served as Director of Public Relations for IDG, the world's #1 tech media company, where she worked under the late Pat McGovern of the McGovern Brain Institute. Prior to that, she honed her skills at a Top 10 PR agency in NYC, Creamer Dickson Basford (absorbed by Havas PR), where she went on to help launch Boston Technology Office.
Creighton was instrumental in launching and promoting the annual Powering Precision Health Summit in the life sciences industry, a leading forum and national platform to advance the science of precision medicine, now in its fifth year. She also helped MassBio launch into the digital health space.
She advocates for cancer research and mental health services. In 2017, Creighton was appointed by Governor Charlie Baker to serve on the Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions, which licenses candidates, and administers and enforces regulations related to the education guidelines for licensing. She received a B.A. in English from the University of Southern Maine.
